Phasolarctos cinereus - Koala - known as "Koala Bear" these creatures are actually marsupials.  Female marsuipals have a pouch where the young are fed and undergo much of their growth and they have 1-4 cubs every third Year..  Grows about 24 inches long and 12 inches high.  Koalas main diet is eucalyptus leaves.  All their time is spent (mostly sleeping) in trees. They are characterized by thick, woolly, fur and sharp claws: large, rounded shaggy ears.   Found in Australia.
